I met Baz (Dirtjournal.com) & Dimeman at Logan this morning and we had very little luck - Robbie found some clad and Baz found a 1917 wheat and a small eagle button. The first spot yielded a demorol dose bottle, a 63 nickel, memorial cent and a watzit.

The back is a hinged clasp that still works. Any ideas anyone????

Across the road we dodged huge water and hunted the little dry areas we could find.
It was very clean. I was surprised to get a good hit and dug this little barber dime at 6.5 inches!!
I called Baz and we worked it over pretty good and dug nothing else. Slim but quality pickings!
Robbie had left but went to another park and promptly found 2 mercs!

Did a google on "Just it" to see what might come up. There's a sewing supply company by that name. I don't know how long the company has been in business.....

Could it be some sort of hemming clip, or maybe a curtian weight?

looks like yall had a pretty good day of hunting
Congras on the barber

Thanks everyone!

Must be prime time hunting weather down there this time of year. ;D What temperatures you getting? I'm stuck inside. Not going out in 15 degrees with a howling wind. I'll catch up on my paperwork. ;D

Anyway. Congratulations on the Barber. Making it look easy. ;) Good deal too for Robbie.

Hey Mirage!
15? That's why I'm still in TX- moved here in 80 - I grew up in western NY - don't miss it this time of year up there.
Today we will have temps in the 60's and it may hit 70 by Tues - Wed. Ideal! T-shirt weather! Bikini skiing weather!
At least you have the superbowl to watch today. I may hit a spot or two after I till the garden. I have to pick some carrots, lettuce & turnips also.
Sorry- I just had to rub it in.
Stay warm!!!
