3 boxes of halves-unopened still, ENDERS! ENDERS! ENDERS!

Hi, I picked up 3 boxes of halves again from the bank and I always check for enders before opening rolls. well, this batch had enders just like last. Everybody knows how rare enders are. Here's the list of enders/possible enders I have(all kennedy halves)

4 proof enders: guaranteed 2008-s, and what appears to be 3 other proof reverses.
8 NIFC enders: 2001p, 2002p 2002d 2002d 2008d 2009p 2009d 2010p
6 silver enders: guaranteed: 1965 1966 1967, and 3 possible silver enders!!!

I open these rolls slowly and savor the moment unlike some who just dig their face into the boxes(not meant offensively)

Well, as time will show, this box has the potential to be great like my last 2 boxes. (61 keepers- 50x 40% and 11x 90% which had 4 enders)
I think I may be on a silver vein.

I cannot upload pictures because I am not up to date with technolegy- but I will try to take scans. I will most definately scan the finished results and post them.

I do not do individual boxes because I like to save the best for last. I opened all 3 and dumped them in piles. Box 1 had no enders box 2 had a proof and 2 silver enders. Box 3 had the remainder.

I did take pictures of the enders via my cell phone but my camera is bad quality and the phone is 3 years old. (real bad quality).

But it is very nice to be guaranteed some keepers. !

nice I also love enders! over the weekend with my 29 boxes I had many enders, especially the box that had 16 pieces had 3 or 4 enders. I always do the enders with each box as the last roll(s) , that way even if the box is a skunk I know I will get at least one !! :P

If that stays consistant or better, this will be a nice box! I love finding proofs almost as much as finding silver since I do not sell my finds

oh okay, and i am going to give final results at end and not post daily finds. So I will not tease ya on that part. but I open my rolls slowly, 10-25 rolls per day depending on how I am doing. Got 145 left to open.

If I knew there was silver in a box I'd have all 3 boxes open and sorted in an hour.

actually, I finished 50 rolls, your right, I couldn't resist. Going to dump the 50 rolls along with some pennies/nickels and open more tomorrow. I am happy with the results so far, did get a foreign coin as well, a first. 2008 panama half dollar.

This could be the longest drawn out post ever. I think I would have simply waited the 3 or 4 months to finish opening them and then post the results.

I'm not trying to hurry you, but the longer you draw it out, the more silver you will miss out on. Of course this theory is based on the premise that the more coins you search, the more silver you will find. Or you could just put all the enders in a big box and open those on Christmas morning.

I completely understand his reasoning. Finding Silver is a natural "High" and he wants to be buzzed for more than three minutes.
