After searching 2 boxes of halves & getting skunked as far as silver is concerned, I did find 3 cool coins in the 2nd box. I found my 2nd large British One Penny dated 1930. Its the same size as a half. I like those large copper cents. I also found a 2001 colorized Vermont half which still has some light traces of glue on the back. Most likely its from a set. And I got a high grade 1972D half in MS-63 condition. You just never know what you're going to find. Its the thrill of the hunt thats the fun part of the hobby. Tomorrow I pick up an order for 2 more boxes of halves & nickels. Yes, I've been bitten by the treasure hunting fever a long time ago. I don't even metal detect much any more as I'm having way too much enjoyment from CRHing.
