I've been working too much lately........my own fault. Today, however, I was going to go hunting no matter what! I obtained permission to hunt one of the town's older middle schools, so, that's where I went. I was surrounded by power lines and had to run with sensitivity about 23 to kill the noise.....even at that point, I was digging 4-5" nickels and dimes. Only had three hours and my results were less than stellar, but, I'm going to show them off, anyway!

I think this was a ring at one time.....it was about 3" deep and showed up as a nickel:

Even though this was about 2" to 3" deep, it came out of the ground almost perfectly clean. Don't you just love that brief (very brief) moment when you see that glint at the bottom of the hole or on the edge of your plug and you think, "Yeah! Silver!"? This was one of those moments:

My three hour take........33 zincolns, 14 nickels, 14 dimes and 7 quarters and about the same amount of poptops!:

It wasn't much, but, it was a hunt and THAT'S what counts!

Most of my silver jewelry has come in looking like a zincoln, however, my F75 has been 100% correct on foil........no gold, yet!

That twinkling glimmer of hope when you see silver shining....OHHH I feel ya! But it by the booty your dug up it was a busy 3 hours. Keep those batteries charged you never know when you'll run into a free hour or two. Happy Swinging.
