Detector(s) used
XP Deus II v0.6 with 11" Coil
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
I decided to take a rest today & go fishing, the only problem was I forgot my rods & accidentally had my spade & detector - oooops

Decided I didn't want to do the field I have been systematically searching & wanted to get a hammered. So I went to another field knowing that it was roughly ploughed to give it a try for awhile. When I got there the farmers son was halfway through rolling it flat. What a stroke of luck 8)

Coins:
2 Roman Coins
1620's Rose Farthing
1674 Farthing (Rare to have a visable date)
1797 'Chartwheel' Penny (If these are still left, fields worth doing)
1806 Halfpenny

Buttons:
1790s Pewter Button
Nice 'Train' 1 piece - New one for me :)
Navy Button

Henry VIII 1547-51 - Halfgroat - Canterbury Mint - Book value - £100 ($200) :o
Only have one other Henry VIII, not half as good as this one

Now I would say that was a GREAT few hours :) This year is my mega-roll year 8)

Hammed wilver is the best wilver to find. You are better than me at datectin'.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

I'm tickled with a 100+ year old penny now and then. You consistently dig coins made 400 - 600 years (or more!)before America was invented. It simply boggles my mind....

Great finds, as usual.

Thanks, thats only true of this year. I have (with help from Dad) had 4 years worth of finds in 9 months :o

Amazing finds!! How did your dad help? Show you where to hunt or with a detector? You have really been making some amazing finds and I am very envious . Here I am happy finding pretty much anything older then 40 years.

Cripes...you are in detecting heaven!

Nice finds like usual, I like the Choo Choo button! :)

WOW!!! You've really outdone yourself. . . and everyone else around here too :o

The way I look at it, MD'ing is a lot like fishing. . . you never know what you're going to pull in :D

Good hunting on your next (fishing) trip!

gadzooks dude !!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D now 'that' is old silver.....

My Dad helps by being my wingman. I show him where to detect & we make a great team. Its my hobby but he has the bug. Good news is I keep everything he finds.

Crusader ,that is good stuff! I have hunted with my father a couple of times and it was very enjoyable. You can never spend to much time with family. ;) Except your sisters. LOL

Really cool finds, CRUSADER!

I love the early English coins.

What model of Tesoro do use use?

Thanks for sharing.

Cortes - finds the small stuff - I wouldn't use anything else, other than a silver sabre in trashy areas.

I used my cibola in the fields in Germany and it did very well on the small silver coins also. Also found some very small roman coins but most of them are in bad shape.

Hey Crusader, by the way, I think your screen name is great. A great screen name for today's politically correct world. I wanted to ask, do you have to turn in everything that you find to "Big Brother" so they can determine if they want to keep it? Or do you have to only turn in finds that are over a certain age?

Basically the Law is:

I have to hand in within 14 days anything over 300 years old with 10% or more silver or gold content. Not including single gold or silver coins. The items I hand in I get back (if museums don't want them) or I get the market value (which is normally more than you could sell them for). VERY FAIR SYSTEM.

Cortes, but one has a larger coil. (we swap over from time to time)
