Hello my friends! I still alive and covering the rain forest from the coast and the Amazonic areas ... although I only have fifteen days of vacation! :D
The first I met a friend of mine who I met on my first journey to this country six years ago, he knows the area and introduced me to a British Archaeologist that been digging around for more than thirty years. Wife and I stayed to tea with his family and told me about his latest work on "Hill Jaboncillo" Precolumbian site is bigger than Machu Pichu ,but not excavated .
He also showed me his collection .
More tade I headed to the area where the findings are drawn Precolumbian and photographed a few.
This place is a city of over three thousand years old and is totally abandoned here .... I discovered a nearly complete figurine (the photo number 12)
Greetings everyone!

Hi Colin! :hello:
Not very exciting when a 4X4 pass over the remains of a city of over a thousand years. :-\
when build a hotel over an area full of pre-Columbian temples. (my friends and I are considering the purchase of this land to build a small museum and save all this .... not very expensive)

:icon_thumleft: Hispan , Enjoyed the pictures of your fantastic trip :occasion14:

Thank you so much for the beautiful photos and video. To me, the figurine is more beautiful than gold --- you are holding in your hand that small human figure made long ago by other human hands, wonderful. I've always liked simple figures better than elaborate ones. Andi

Hello and welcome to Treasurenet famili. :hello:

These fragments of ceramic, perforated shells, stone tools and the small figure, representing more than 3000 years of pre-Columbian history in half an hour of hunting in the same place. :o
The figure is very schematic, but this whole and is very old, if he had a month to hunt here (without having to take care of my family) could mount a PreColumbian art museum.
The next hunt shall be a full day, I promise to show more pre-Columbian discoveries that are abandoned in the middle of the jungle (but everything is very broken because they are superficial finds)...... possibly be my last day of hunting in the new world .
Greetings !
H

I still show the videos made in this PreColumbian site .... the music scares but is free. :laughing7:

That place is so damn beautiful. I'd love to go somewhere like that at some point if I can get over my fear of flying.
