Where do most actual "in the ground" nickels hit on the numeric scale 3.5,4,or 4.5? Does the factory frequency (4) interfere with garrett pro-pointers? My machine (used) turns itself off every now and again,is this normal? I have been having great success with this machine lately on medium and high conductivity targets (1858 seated half dime/1866 indian head 1cent) in areas I have used other machines. I have been lazy in digging nickel hits because I don't have the" feel" for them yet. The sizing feature is great,sometimes I dig all signals size "B" and larger,just to see what the bigger signals will be. Thanks for any info.
