Got a new permission here in south jersey at a old abandoned farm not far from me. its on a long dirt road in the woods, what a feeling to get on new hunting grounds again. the first silver was the 54 washington quarter that looks like it was just made! about a hour into the hunt i get a 81 on the Tekinetic t2 se and down 3-4 inches out pops a small silver disk,i knew it was a half dime by its size, it wasn't much longer i got another 81 hit and when i lifted up the plug up and broke loose the dirt again i was staring at another small half dime size coin. getting really excited i notice the yard had alot of roots from trees in it but as i was near a large tree i got a hit that came up copper coin,it was a penny that was dark so couldnt identify right away.walking towards the side of the house i got another sweet 81 hit and down 8-9 inches up came another small silver disk, what a rush! i didnt clean off coins until i got home. it didnt end with the coins as i found some early buttons and a thomas jefferson token and a barrel of some sorts maybe something for a ram rod? overall a great hunt with the coin totals of a 1835 half dime,a 1853 dime, a 1889 canadian dime and the indian coin was 1872 and a 54 washington quarter.when that big round button came out i thought for a second Washington button? but no it wasn't ,but on top of it all i saw what i thought was a piece of a arrow head and when i picked it up i was surprised to see it was a bird point in great condition! field will be getting planted soon so i need to get back there asap!!!
