Detector(s) used
Bounty HunterIV / Garrett GTI 2500

The new detector is working great and having lots of fun with it. My 16 year old son did kicked my butt with the old one when we went to a ski hill. He knew where the jumps were where everyone wipes out!
We have a bit of copper around here and the rock looking thing is a chuck of natural copper. When I dug it, it had what I would describe as a sandstone cover on it. I broke away the cover and underthat was the typical green patina that copper gets. I put it in some cleaner and that's what it looks like,my favorite find so far.
The silver is all from the 40's and there is one buff nick, the ring is sterling.
10 outtings, 305 digs 3.6 % silver. All in all I'm happy with my trips, saving all the clad till I can say my garret is paid for itself. Happy Hunting

very nice job with the silver! Yup sounds like some good spots!

Everyone says those ski jumps are great places to M'D! I may eventually give one a go.
I'd say your Garrett is flat treating you right; Garrett makes a good one, homing in on the loot!
