I found tons of shot gun shells and one rifle shell in the same hole as a silver quarter. a phew wheaties. IN MY BACK YARD. I own 4 acres. my property is on an indian camp ground and later on huting grounds and finaly after that it was a 30's girl scout camp. I own an old peice of property. The oldest coin i pulled was a 1701 farthing. thats old. My property has been hunted before.Bookfisher and I hunted it we dident find much.

Sounds like a great site. With 4 acres, hopefully you keep it up and maybe you'll stumble upon an area that produces some sweet stuff that you've never passed your (or anyone else's) coil over yet.

that 1701 came as a shock I have also found early relics like an EAGLE lock and gun hammer. My best silver on my property was a 1906 barber dime and a 1889 english 3 pence and finaly a silver nickle w rd on the back.
