394th Infantry Regiment Pin!

I was hunting an elemtary school and ended up finding this pin. Originally I thought it was just a cool pin and did not realize that it was military. I got home an looked it up and realized that it is a pin from the 394th infantry regiment. From what I can tell they were active during WW1 and WW2! This one of my favorite finds now! Also, my brother found a Mexican 100 dollar coin and at first he thought it was gold and then we realized that it is bronze. Haha.

I like the military pin a lot. Had I found it would have given thought to the story of the person who owned and lost it. Was it lost before or after the war? If before did he get shipped overseas? If he did I would wonder if he made it back safe. Stuff like that.
