The NJ State Park GESTAPO (Police) just about had me prone in the sand cause the Permit says "Except Holidays" and I didn't see that part. So I nearly paid the price, as if I were a murderer/rapist/armed robber....unbelievable. I always support our law enforcement but it seems these people are way over the top with the power trip. They are allowed to use discretion, specially when there are only 4 other people on the beach. I was going to go in the water too!! I can only imagine the grave consequences of that!!!
