Anyone know anything about the stone mountain? Haven't looked online much yet..

The Stone Mountain half is a commemorative half dollar. The obverse is of Stonewall Jackson and RE Lee that is carved on Stone Mountain in Georgia.

Not bad.. I was looking on Ebay and saw some in similar condition selling around $30. Either way I am pretty happy. Last week I found almost double (most walkers and Franklins). My bank is top notch, but I am moving in 6 weeks so I am trying to do as much as I can before then.. 4 more boxes on Thursday..

The 86S is a proof, but not silver.

The 70d is not a proof (all proofs are "s" mintmark). It most likely came from a mint set. It might be worth a tiny bit more than the average 40%er.

The gold plated coin isn't anything special. By all means keep it if you like it, but it isn't worth anything above face value.

The '70 - D half dollar was only issued in official Mint Sets, Not Intended For Circulation and only 2.1M were minted.

The 70d Is probably worth $10-$20 depending on condition. They are worth a lot more than just any 40%er

correction, the whole year of 1970(d and s) are silver clad--- 40% silver. Every half dollar you get from 1970 reguardless of mint mark have the dame content as half dollars from 1965-1969d. This is from background knowlege and a double check from my 2010 redbook. Hh!
