Yeah them broken bands give a funny signal and guys with screens pass them up for us to get. Nice finds.

I dug a gold ring in the wet sand. When I saw the ring after I spread out the sand with my foot, I ran my coil over it and heard nothing. My friend was near me and I told him my CZ just quit working. He came over and swung his coil over the ring and said he couldn't hear it. I said, what the hell, I just dug that. I looked at the ring close and it had a broken band but wasn't separated. I mashed it tight together and ran it under my coil and it gave a great signal but if I let the pressure off, the signal vanished. That one had us confused for a minute.

Nice job on the return and broken gold.

well done on both accounts!
