More people than ever on the beach at low tide had a tough time swinging and recovering. Lost a nice gold tone as I had a large amount of toes in the hole. I guess if I got it on the 1st or second scoop? Just left it. Here's the bounty two 14K rings Mans Band and HS girls Ring HS name id hard to read working on a return! Plus 2 metals, dog tag and two junk earrings plus $5.85 clad

Very nice :notworthy: Someone is gonna be happy to get that back. Tell us how the return efforts go. Mike

Congrats on the 2 golds BC. Hope you
have good luck with the return effort.
Gold Nuggets :hello:

Steve, Nice finds!!!!! How many rings is that year to date?

I hunted a south Jersey Beach on Friday. Same problem as you, wall to wall people even down in the wet. Came away with one really big 925 earring. It's the size of a small ring. Also, some junk jewerly and a big pile of clad.

Tom, 8 total gold rings this season.I was right in their hunting among the crowd lots of targets just had to chose the gold sounds. Lots of little toes looking in the hole if you took too many scoops.I would say 6000 on the center beach July 4th Many other great finds not being listed.Saw a giant chain with rings attached?

Hunting with the crowds is a big difference from our solitary winter hunts where all we had to deal with was the weather and the sea. Of course, no depositors, no deposits!!!!!!

I'm a little disconnected from the group right now as can't access FB from my office computer. My home computer caught a sexually transmitted disease. Oh the joys of having a college aged son who doesn't understand "Stay off the porno sites!" at home for the summer. So, right now I have no way to know which beaches are working and which are a pass.

Again, congrats on the rings. Another two ring day for you!!!!!!!

Nice finds :icon_salut: I can't imagine trying to hunt in an area so populated.

So true, I only detect in the wet sand water during peak times. Detecting dry sand around people is really a no no! Sand from the scoop always finds it way to the sunbathers. If there is a large area behind them maybe. I am figuring that kids can dig holes and make castles in the sand I paid I can too! Besides the goodies don't seek the hardpan before you find them.

Steve, 8 rings ytd, wow, that's excellent! Look's like Matt is starting to hit as well. I've got 5 looking for #6 today. That puts me only 120 or so behind Dewguru for the year.

CYA on the beach!!!!!!

Tom you have to stop sleeping and get out at O dark 30 Matt and jan were on the beach at 3am I got there late 4:30am.I hunt when theres time day or dark!
