5 silver hunt

I love Kansas so far. Today I detected a sidewalk strip a few doors down from my house. First merc I managed to scratch, it rang up a 43-44 so I initially thought it was a semi deep penny. Wrong, it was shiny and about 6 inches deep up against a sidewalk. About 6 inches away I found my first standing liberty quarter, unfortunately it's well worn. Then another 4 inches away I found the 23 merc. Also nearby in the 10 foot area was the silver ring and 52 quarter. I learned a lesson this week. I lost out on finding an 1864 penny my friend found on area i had covered...in coin mode, auto...etc. it was about 10 inches deep and I missed it. So, all these were found on manual settings and I did find deeper stuff. Shame on me! Silver for the week is 6 plus the ring.
