Thought I would post this for anyone out in that area. I think some of the "best" legends and stories are the ones where someone already found something, versus a legend passed on of there was "suppose to be" etc...
Might be worth digging up some old plat maps and trying to find the old property.

If I lived a little closer I would be looking and see what happened to their land. Probably still a farm field or something. Owner might let you poke around. Especially if you’re a local!
