58 Gardner?

Went out for about 2 hrs. I told my buddy at work I was gonna find a Confederate camp, I've found a sword hilt and confederate horse bit near my house but nothing else CW. So today I found my third Confederate item. They were here I just haven't gotten on the sweet spot. I'm not the best on bullets but the diameter comes out a around 59 or 60 and the weight is 1.18 ounces.

Forgot to ask but are these rare. I found it in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia. In the middle of the woods, very random and lucky find. Yankee stuff has proven to be abundant but Confederate is scarce

Not a rare Confederate bullet, probably the most common of the "true" CS bullets. I have found them in .54 and .58 in Jefferson County WV, and in Culpeper County, VA. A .69 Gardner is a more rare variety.
