muriatic acid. it is what they use to clean brick/blocks etc in construction

hmmm after some more time looking at this point, Ive decided this is not a buck creek but a motley instead. Ive gotten so many buck creeks at this site Im starting to wonder how a cache is defined?
I have gotten at least 10 b.c. from within 20 ft of each other.

You have come a long way in your hunts Tree. The cleaning process does well. Be sure to post the warnings about using muratic. lol The fumes will get you and your finger prints disappear. :icon_sunny:
 

Nice finds lately Tree and good info on your cleaning technique. I've got some cave finds with heavy caliche that I may clean up with acid after seeing your results.
