Got out today to the flying eagle cent/old gold band field as well as a new
location I got permission to hunt. Started out slow, but ended out pretty well.
Today's haul was:
1883 IHC
14 wheat cents - 1926, 1923, 1940, 1957-D, 1953-D, 1949, 1945, 1944, 1937, 1955-D, 1953, 1933?, 1925, 1937
1867 Shield Nickel
1910 V Nickel
Dateless, 1926, 1929 Buffalo Nickels
1943-P War Nickel
1926 & 1934 Mercs (one is black - must've been continuously damp soil)
Sterling band stamped .925 Mexico - 2.8 grams
Older Sterling "G" initial ring - took a quick video of this in the field, but it's not that exciting, so I'll hold off posting it, haha. 6.6 grams.
BLING-ERIFIC monstrous stone Sterling ring. Rang in like silver, but didn't believe it until I saw the 925 stamp. This thing is total hip-hop! 6.0 grams
Didn't even have to go to the beach to find a few silver rings.
