$600 Sale? Get Ready for Tax Form

Gonna have to rethink my theory of trading coins for 1 oz golds pieces. Gonna have to look for decent priced fractionals.

Why not inform your friends and stand against it as well as the Socialist Obamacare itself!

Hay just saw Kagan on Nightly News acknowledge she is a progressive, what is a progressive but a more palatable word for a communist; one does not have to do much digging to understand this either. There are many of these in our Media as well as our gov too;

How can they tax you on something like this, even if it's over $600? Obama promised that there would be NO new taxes for anyone making less than $250,000 per year. Answer that one please.
Inflation is the only way the governments can hopeto recover but it will be at our expense the people of AmeriKa, and I say it that way with a "K" cause we are a socialist land now, we will be pressed & oppressed beyond measure.

Is there a country in the world that you can name that you would not consider to be socialist, corrupt or otherwise bad?

History does NOT repeat itself. That is a fallacy. History is written--as most Americans think--buy the winners. Another fallacy. In this country, history is often written by the loosers. The US Civil War: AKA--War Between the States.

Hey, How about paying taxes like a loyal American? If you are profiting from your "work", shouldn't you be a loyal American and pay your taxes? I dont like paying taxes either, but I don't cheat my government!! Hopefully the IRS is monitoring this website and taking names. Thats one of the problems with this country, nobody takes responsibility anymore....always looking to "beat the system" which is illegal!! How about standing up like a man and doing what is right for once?

I am scratching some of this out....

It's not the size of the government, it's the number of laws and the complexity of our tax system that's killing us. We need law repealers, not law makers!

I should have said there's a reason there were only ten commandments.

Simplify federal tax - a 20% surcharge on atms for example. Hmm, and I suggesting a cashless society? Maybe.

Anyway, It's an even a broader problem... Scale.

There's a reason there are condensed enclaves of humans in most of Europe.

The Europeans have been figuring these things out for a long time. Tall rows of buildings, shade filled walkways, everything within walking distance....

America has a problem of scale. You NEED a car to do anything.

I suggest Walmart go into a new business. Housing.

Above every Walmart, affordable high rise housing.

Want something? Just order it and it will be vacuum tubed to your Walmart Condo.

Think how far we have come....

You will always have people trying to beat the system when two people can work and one gets a EIC (pay no income tax and get a check from the government) and someone else pays 36% (soon to be 39.6% with a huge expansion in credits to those who don't even pay income tax). Even if you move a simpler system (no income tax or flat tax) you will still have people that will try and beat the system. There will always be people who feel they are pulling too much of the weight and there will always be people unwiling to give up their freebies.

It seems to me the IRS is going to have its hands full auditing all the CRHs getting 1099s. All those trips to the bank and cash transactions are going to look suspicious. Good luck trying to explain your hobby. ;)

NO as it stands today there are none, Chile after Pinochet overthrew the communists was good, as was Katanga (called Congo today) which overthrew the communists but then the UN invaded and restored the communists.
The great satan truly is AmeriKa today, with our wealth and $ hegemony our globalist minded leaders have forced the will of the UN upon all nations by extortion and or brute military force.

Look at history! Do you think the German people understood what was coming when they elected the National Socialist Workers Party and it's rep Hitler to office? You need to read the dark history behind most of the individuals in the Obama admin.

Yeah and that's what we are living in... an Obama Nation. There isn't a politician alive you can trust. The more liberal this country becomes. The less freedom we have. Go figure.

There is what is called the circle of history that has repeated itself throughout history:

From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to selfishness;
From selfishness to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependency;
From dependency back again to bondage.

In his book "Democracy in America", Alexis DeTocqeville (circa 1848) had this to say: " A Democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of Government. It can only exist until the voters discover they can vote themselves largesse (a liberal gift) out of public treasury. From that moment on the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that Democracy always collapses over a loose fiscal policy, always to be followed by a Dictatorship."

That my friend is what is called by the Globalists (those who will rule over us all) the sustainable communities project, the UN's Agenda 21 in which all human activity is to be micromanaged and regulated; they envision us all in dense population regions with all rural areas off limits to people.

Personally I like things spread out and like life in America B4 the gov- corp takeover of US with their destructive to liberty- freedom agenda. Decades ago small communities were the backbone of America, every community sustained itself there were local dairies- farmers and industry as well as supporting infrastructure in prosperous communities today due to Globalist treaties NAFTA GATT & other so called Free Trade ones we are no longer prosperous or independent, as it stands now over 1/2 our food in US comes from overseas where there are no safety standards- who knows what we eat today!

I couldn't agree more. The average "citizen" has no voice anymore. Big Business and Politicians with special interests are destroying this country.

I agree with Nyiangelo. If they are going to tax me on the little amount of gain that I can make in this hobby, I should be able to claim the mileage, the time I've spent coin hunting, vehicle repairs. Anything else that a coin roll hunter has to keep up on, or maintain should be taken into consideration. Sad thing is they won't care about any of that, because it's a hobby not a job. But if you can make money off of a hobby, and it does cost you money to do this hobby as well, shouldn't you be able to write off your costs to keep up on that hobby??? Not much different than if you claim gas money or repairs for your job if your a driver.
If this is going to really happen it better be fair. If not, then couldn't we just find someone to sell to under the table?? If you don't sell to a business then how can they track it? This just frustrates me to think about.

The problem with this country is that the government takes from the high income families (The Motivated) and gives to the low income families (The Unmotivated). Whenever you here the term rich or high income just replace it with motivated. It works all the time. I think it would be easier to be a "Loyal American" If the government did not give my money away to the unmotivated.
