I swung by my local thrift store and spied this beautiful minty 1976 Phasar 2000 watch for $2. These were made by Seiko for Sears. I popped in a new battery and cleaned it up a bit and it looks brand-new. I am always amazed at how high-quality these watches are. I also got a 1985 ladies Swatch Black Beauty watch for $0.60. It also took a new battery and it's running great. I'll be listing that one on eBay for a quick profit but am keeping the Phasar.

It is going to join his 1976 brother.

I have a Phasar in gold. What battery did yours take? I'm still hoping to find one of those calculator watches that selfless for $1000+! I have several $100+ watches that just need batteries!

It takes a 386 battery. I too would love to find an early high quality calculator watch! Good luck !
