What fantastic weather!! Well GH I stayed in town to search instead of on the Chisholm Trail. I think I possibly found some silver and gold for us. Since I was hunting for you also I guess it would be appropriate to cut the watch in half and send your half too you. I could use the lock though to keep our gold and silver safe. The watch is very heavy for it?s size. No markings. The little heart cross has no markings ether. What should I do with the marbles? Put them back where I lost them you say. OK. Good thing I never promised you a rose garden. You are not quite as much fun to detect with as Stoney but I hope you enjoy your finds.
If any one knows about the lock or any of the other items please reply. The greenish pendent is unusual but looks cheap. Found two memorials but no other coins.

Stan, I think the watch is plated from what I can see and the greenish thing is a watch fob.

Thanks for the great finds Stan. I have to admit that it was the easiest digging I ever had to do! I might not be as fun as Stoney to hunt with...but I am alot quieter! LOL.....I like the little green peice...even if its cheap! Like a crow I am...if it glitters it goes back to the nest ! I hope you jumped up and down for me ...like I do ...when you made the finds!

Nice finds Stan! I especialy like the Master lock from Milwaukee Wi.
It's in great condition for a dug lock.

Stan Dont you think that its a sign that you found that lock from Wisconsin....since thats where I am from...and you were hunting on my behalf.........whats the odds of that.....maybe tomorrow you better hunt on behalf of the King Of England or some famous pirate!!!!!

Now GH, that's not fair-I'm as quiet as a churchmouse except when I find gold or silver. ? Sounds like you got some good finds, but long distance is not as good as being there. ?

I am not sure what that means...but in my very large Hungarian family we believe that if you do something nice for someone,it comes back to you a thousand fold , even if its just to bring a smile to someones face. Stan, I tried looking up the # 5547 as a patent number but all I got was a boat anchor. Could there be some other #'s that maybe you missed?

Stoney, I see no other numbers on the back. The front has the number 77. Sure looks old. I would sure like to know the history on that lock. That watch is very heavy for as small as it is.
