8-13 got a few keepers :-)

[postalgriff]

hooked up with Brent and tried a couple of lots in the city that were pretty trashy, and we tried one spot out in the country. Dug a no date LC, 1886 IH, 1900 V nickel and a few relics, including a nice old buckle and an old button (MSP?) anyway, thanks for looking, Griff
UPDATE: I think the button is a Michigan staff coat button from the civil war era.

Congrats to ya bro on some great digs!! Awesome score on the LC - too bad there is no date but it did clean up pretty nice. Sweet Indian, V and relics too man. That old button and buckle are way cool. Yep - you put a spankin on me yesterday but I'll get ya next time

Now those are some oldies J, that large penny is really early, wow that looks familiar.
NIce V-nick too, a crisp one, congrats on the IH!
What's that thing in the bezel in upper left?

What's that thing in the bezel in upper left?

thanks D,...it says "Childrens Fund of Michigan Dental Health" and it is a gold or gold plated setting

wow! that has to be one of the nicest V nickels I've seen! congrats

[Atlanta Mi Dave]

Nice bunch of finds! Thats an odd wear pattern on the Biggie. I wonder if it may have been a weak strike to begin with. That would have made my day! Congrats.

Man, great finds. Love the LC, nice IH and V and other nice stuff

[Mike from MI]

Great digs! Is that a sharp shooters badge?

[Michiganne]

Nice digs, J. Excellent V nickel and I'd take that smoothie LC any day. Glad you're getting out.

HH
p.s. Nice button, too!

dang Mike good eye!.... I wasn't sure what that was, but after looking at some other pics it very well may be.
