This morning could not have gone much better! Last weekend I did not get out because the tides during my morning window were extremely high. Let the wife sleep in for a change(normally when I go detecting early our daughter wakes her up about 7am). So this weekend I was ready to go!! Got out at the crack of dawn and got 3 solid hours in. Hit a totally new beach and I don't think it has been hunted very hard. Started popping out sinkers right away and knew there were heavy targets available 
about an hour in I get that oh so sweet sound and pop out a massive 14K band that weighs in at 10.2 grams!! 5 minutes later BAM! Score another gold wedding band(no marks tests good at 10K and weak at 14K)! In the meantime I hit a small junk ring and a silver ring. Then I look in the scoop, NO FRIGGIN WAY!!! Another Fat 14K band!!!!!! this one weighs 5.6 grams! What a way to start out August!! My best hunt of the year thus far. You can bet I will be out there again for Surfchurch!! Enjoy the pictures and I will put a video together since I got all the finds on video!!
