800 pinpoint?

Where does your 800 pinpoint the target, top front of coil, center of coil, left or right of center, front of coil at letters EOX? Does it pinpoint to the same place in all detect modes? What about deep is the target in the same pinpoint place? Just playing with mine trying to learn and trust this machine.

Center of coil right under end of shaft. Doesn't matter the depth, but I've noticed the deeper the target, sounds a little bigger. Pinpoints for me in the same place regardless the mode.

your pinpoint on the screen will show you where the sweet spot is, it is as stated just in front the shaft and wings of the coil towards the front of the coil.
