nickel is "NO CENTS" version, 4X more value if it had Cents, but 12 bucks for a nic is just fine. the penny is $12 to $15, small piece missing and larger area at date is peeling. if you only look for silver you are saving the other goodies for me, so thanks in advance. HH

Nice V nick. One way to increase its value is to just give it a gold plating and pass it off as a $5 gold piece.

You beat me to it, baddbluff.
And for those who don't know, that is a 1 year only design. They changed the 1883 liberty V nickels to the "V cents" variety later in the year because people were painting them gold and passing them off as a $5 gold piece.
In 1883 $.05 and $5.00 was a HUGE difference in what you could purchase.

Great on the nickel! Unfortunately that isn't a lamination error. Starting in 1982 cents were made with a solid zinc core with a copper plating. What you have is a plating issue.
