I know we have found gold and silver that's marked incorrectly when we hunt Asia. Unless you plan on selling, just put it in the case and remember the thrill of the hunt.

Now go find another------JIM in sunny Florida AKA KINGPULLTAB

.925 is the international marking for Sterling Silver. .925% Silver. You don't usually see Diamonds with silver so I would question if its real silver or not. You may however come across some real silver with diamonds so you never know till its tested. Most your coin shops, antique shops ext. Should have a chemical testing kit.

Keep @ it and HH!!

If the 'stones' are raised or are positioned so that you can see light through them, most likely they are the real thing. I would also suppose that cubic zirconia (fake) diamonds would also have to be raised also.

Most diamond settings have an area where light will be transmitted through the stone.

I am surprised no one has stated the obvious. How did it read? If it is truly silver, you would know it as soon as you passed the coil over it.

I have a few pieces of silver that my girlfriend bought for me in Japan. Some do have diamonds. I know that sounds weird to us in the U.S. because ours typically have CZ or pieces of glass. However, what I believe what you have found is a pair ring. A pair ring is popular in Asia as a symbol of love between a boyfriend and girlfriend. Its not a wedding band but think of it as a pre-wedding band. Im a little suprised it is marked 925 on it. Mine simply says "silver." I would spend the time and get them checked just in case.

Thanks to all , I will have it tested, sorry to say that i did not find this with my detector, it was in with a bunch of other things that i found, there are holes under the stones for light.
so im thinking they may be real I will post as soon as I find out if they are real .
