A 117 yr old coin found today 8/1/12

Although I've found a few Indian Head cents, the one I found today is the oldest . Its dated 1895 & is 117 years old. It was found in the very first roll in the box. Its only in GD-4 condition with a BV of $3.00. But they are scarce to find & I'm happy I found another one.

Nice, I found an indian head today but it was dateless...My oldest was 1880. (Or maybe the one today who knows? My dad thinks it's from the 1870s)

Nice find. I love finding those old coins. Just think of how common it was to see one of those back in the day and how rare they are now. And how many people have touched that coin. All for it to end up in your hands. Kind of amazing
