A Berry Good Find

Yum, yum, yum! This is our very biggest harvest ever since we have been here! My theory is that we've been eliminating the wild honeysuckle so, therefore, they have more room to grow. Whatever, the conditions are very good this year and I will be picking berries for a few days.

I see the red raspberries growing close to the creeks around here, but rarely any berries survive the birds, skunks and racoons that gobble them up as soon as they're ripe. Plus the berries are rather small.

We were surprised we beat them to it. I kept telling them to watch out for snakes, too. We were big time in the brush. There were lots of spiders. I tripped and fell and twisted my knee up worse than it already was. Bugger hurts. Made me think about going to the Drs! Like the saying goes, getting old is not for sissies! How are you healing?
