I found this today where I havnt found much else but more
Modern
Stuff it has a steel back it’s very corroded and can’t make any details there. There is a crown on the front of it. Is this anything Anyone would recognize as old like 1800’s era?

I'm no expert and it looks modern like a blazer button, but I would defer to the more qualified 'button people' here. :icon_thumright:
 
I am not sure on exact dates but it is probably a 20th century fashion button. Here's a link to one on the Waterbury site.

Thanks for that link. It looks like the exact button from what I can tell. I have found varying years of stuff on the property most buttons are 1800’s one I can put a date on was made no later than 1843 cause they stopped all together and I have shotgun head stamps that date
1901-1910. So I’ll just assume it’s early rather than later 20th

Not sure of it's history, but it is a nice looking button.
