Stuff found in Tappahannock,Virginia today.. Wish I could say that was a Confederate Artillery button but not so another false hope but I will take it!! Any info about this ring too??

Looks like a Confederate script A to me, but the details are a little fuzzy in the pics. No idea about the ring though.
 
Wish it was a Confederate script but it is not... I thought for about an hour it was til I checked the back-mark out and found out the company was in business from 1880-1910
 
Well at least you know now for sure. Still a nice find!
 
Found out from "What Is It" that is a Yin Yang ring... now trying too figure out what century it is. hoping late 19th
 
Finding out that could be a 29th infantry division WWII ring!

Yeah, that's the flip-side of a nice clear backmark... breaks your heart about as often as they set it to racing.
