A couple of copper,s and a seated dime a bell and musket ball

Hey all i got out this past weekend in a 1800,s corn field that was rolled down flat so it was easy swinging a little chilly and windy but i put most of the day swinging and came up with 2 nice old coppers 1822 and 1827 LC,s , 1 1884 V nickle , 1 seated dime 1876 , a full green patina crotal bell and 1 lead shot ball , 1 flat button and lots of iron :laughing7:. unless it stays warm that's it for me this year . That is beautiful 1822 LC and sweet Seated!I went on the last 2 hunts with the group and those fields. did not produce many finds.I heard last weekends hunt threw out at least 4 Spanish silver and many Coppers.Congrats on those finds.
 
hey deepdigger my family is from orient not too far from where you are. i too am apart of the artifact detecting team. so you know barie?my familys last name is (king ) we were one of the first 5 families to settle the north fork in 1640 pm me. i know some spots we could detect. my uncle danny owns most of the farms his last name is lathem ring a bell. in the one field located closest to the causeway from greenport to orient i found a 1794 lc a 1796 lc over 50 buttons including 19 war of 1812 artilary and naval buttons also a few seated coins and one 1589 reale yes 1589 :o so if youre looking to get into some great diggs pm me and are you apart of the metal detecting club in patchoauge. im 13 years old, lol im not an old man ;D and im not a newbie i have been metal detecting scince i was 6 and i dont have a newbie metal detector mxt pro and others.
