Now that it is getting colder I have had a chance to clean up some of my finds. I could use some help identifying these.

This was found at 50's school yard it was kind of rusty and is magnetic, so I think it is iron. I tumbled it with clad including pennies so now it looks a little coppery colored.

It is about 1 inch at base and tapers to about 1/2 inch at the other end. Any idea what it is? My wife thinks it might be a powderhorn.

This other thing I found at 1800's post office site, it had a green patina so I think it is copper or brass. After tumbling I think it looks like a decorative plate around a doorknob, but not sure why it wouldn't be round in the center.

Thanks for looking.

The more I looked at the brass object, I think it might the plate for a door bell or buzzer.

2nd item looks like an ornate valve handle. due to the flat in the center hole,it was definately made for turning something.could be from an old gasoline /oil stove or gasoline/oil torch. early 1900's
