A day at the Gold claim

Here's a few pictures of my son and I at our gold claim in Arizona. Notice the old garrett he's using. I'm using a Minelab. I took one picture of an old mine shaft looking down. Yep it's mine...get it? Mine. Ha!

Have you ever lowered yourself down the shaft? That would be tempting.

Cool part of the country. Short of building a cyanide mill, have you had the chance to detect the tailings around the old mines and any luck?

Might be fun with an A frame, electric winch, and hardhat with upper body armor ...

People really should secure those deathtraps !

Nice pics. This might sound stupid but what do you do at and around the claim? BTW it looks like your in the middle of the desert?
