My family didn't use the green peppers or whole tomatoes, but what they did was add tomato soup. People always thinks it's strange, but it so good. Tomatoes and cheese. I love dipping grilled cheese sandwiches into cream of tomato soup. Something about the combination of cheese and tomatoes just tastes so good.
