Picked up a '76 Silver three coin proof set missing the half (so I guess now it's a 2 coin proof set) for $5. Very pleased with that purchase. Pretty sure I'm under melt on those.

Also picked up 4 1992 Silver proof sets for $18.75 each. I think that's a fair price, not steals, but pretty reasonable.

Not really sure what to do with them but I couldn't pass them up. It's funny that I bought a bunch of coins when I was a kid, all low price stuff. Then I didn't really buy anything for about 20 years. Now, the last couple of months, I've gotten back into it and it's a blast. I don't know if I'm buying them to sell, to collect, to give to the kids, I don't know, but it's fun.

Sounds like you made some great buys Twitch.

Thanks. I went back to the same place today and picked up some foreign silver. Bought 30 1972 German 10 Mark Olympic coins and 1 1973 German 5 Mark Nikolaus Kopernikus coin for exactly $200. I figure there's 9.555 troy oz silver (they're each 62.5% silver) between the coins, meaning I paid ~$20 over spot for the coins. Again, not really sure what to do with them but I'm glad I got them.

They could be worth a little over melt if they are uncirculated.
