A few finds from a new location.

I did some research and found a new location to hunt. It was a hotel built in 1840 as a vacation spot with 4 or 5 cottages on the same site. The Hotel was torn down in the 30s and it's totally overgrown now. It's definitely not easy to hunt. Lots of iron and LOTS of Weeds! But I still managed to find a few things today.

Your blue and white pottery is called chicken wire spongeware. Probably 1880's - 1930's. My wife collects the stuff. Gary

Thanks, I've been meaning to set up an electrolysis but haven't gotten around to it yet. I've just been using vinegar for the smaller stuff.
