Back at the same old fields but still finding a few items slowly. First afternoon found a token, "JWC" and what appears to be flattened lead

This morning got back out to a different part of the field and found a little older stuff, two nice buttons. Both are small, the first is a cuff button that is patterned, couldn't quite read the back but I think something "Quality"

The second button, could be half of a cuff link, is an amethyst or purple tinted paste with decorative, maybe floral facets cut into it.

Nice finds. The paste stone button is probably early/mid 18th. Id keep working that area

It's the earliest type of linked-button / cuff-link made; 1690-1720s.

I have found a few of those, including one very similar on a site that saw activity from the 1750s to 1780s. Definitely a cuff link.
