Nice finds. The first and second pieces cleaned up nice. Shame about the large stemmed point, still a nice find. H.H.

What type is that big stemmed point? Would have been a nice one. Almost looks like the blade above it matches...does it?!

Nice finds Treefrog! You find more artifacts in 3 hours than I do in a week. Thanks for the pics.

Judging by the mud caked artifacts, I'm willing to bet that it ain't easy digging right now...shew!

thx all, 1320 that blade does not go with the base, it is thicker than the base, that little base is really thin, I wish it were whole., I think I would have called it a Buck Creek for starts until I had more time to study it. Also 1320, that is not mud at all, those pics were after I cleaned em with water and liquid soap, that is calcium and other deposits that you can not scrub off, it takes the acid to clear it away. the whole point I would call a Buck Creek or maybe a Ledbetter like Tn_mtns suggested. in this post: http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,384145.msg2731347.html#msg2731347
as you can see from those pics, I have several from that spot that look a lot alike. they all have came out in less than 40 ft from each other so far, I may be able to call em a cache..
Im still digging with a 3 fingered hand tool and 4- 5gal buckets. not really hard just gets old after several hours of it. I was about ready to quit for the day when that big whole one came out.
I don't worry if I don't find any, just figure thats dirt moved to get to the rest of em....

Keep it up and Lars will be jealous!
Nice finds once again Tree.

Dang tree, that's alot of junk build up, redefines the word patina! I should have remembered that, you recommended acid to me a few months ago to clean some of mine up.....

You have gathered quite the collection, all from the same shelter area? Makes me wonder how in the world they could lose so many. My brother and I found 14 complete points in one small shelter last month......
