Still hitting the same field that I've done very well in over the last few months. Picked up what appears to be an 1850 Large Cent. I can make out the 0 at the end, and all the other coins found in this field have been from 1852 - 1907. Also found the 1905 Indian in the same outing, along with the 3 buttons. The Indian was just under some bean stubble. No digging required. Almost had the Penny trifecta, but there have not been any Wheats found in this field. One button seems to say Northland, but I can't find any info on it. Any ideas are appreciated. I tried to upload a picture of all the items out in the field, but the file was to large to process. Hope everyone is making some outstanding finds.

Nice coin find! The photo of the carded coin is just too dark for me to make out any details. Good luck on a positive ID. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

Nice!!!! Congrats!!!!

Sweet! Doesn’t look like you are quite done with the field yet. Congratulations and I hope you find more.

I imagine detecting fields is extremely enjoyable. Nothing to think about except what might be in the next shovel. There are a few spots around me that are similar and they are my favorites! I have the best luck going back to where I have had the best luck.

Any day you dig a large cent is a good day :icon_thumright:

Nice job!!!!!
