A few things cleaned up found in the lake

I dug this Brass fork it sat in the mud for years tarnished black. The knife has no blades they rusted its cool the handle bon and the hook is stainless steel. Cleaning the fork took me some time it was really tarinshed badly, a lot of electrolysis baths. Ive found lots of forks spoons knives none made from brass with the detailed design that's the reason ceaning it. thanks for looking HH

I have a book on silver plated silverware. Might try to find your pattern.From its design, looks like the early 1900s, or before.Cool knife. Also there was a think called Nickle Silverware, Alaska Ware, Malacca Ware, etc. Wikipedia has something on this type of table wear. You can find it was sold by montgomery Wards, Spiegels Sears Roebuck,etc. I have a Sears catalog from the 1930s. It lists a pattern called Fair Lawn aka Virginia as being nickel silver, but it actually ws not, it was silver plate.Was an old pattern from 1910 or so. Also, if you want to see other examples, look on ebay.
