A few things found on the property I've been house sitting

[JVA5th]

Out here in the hills I've had to house sit for awhile so took my metal detector. Grounds hard as heck and the area is trashed but did have a 1910 home on it and a bar in the 70s also a store around the same time. Was mostly a frustrating time with the shovel bouncing of the ground, trash galore and not much of anything cool coming up. Managed a few eh things and a decent well silver plated silver pickle fork. Wish my stubbornness would of paid of a bit more but it is what it is.

Ohhh.
Seeing it closer :
I retract my thinking that was an Indian (native American) figure / bust.

My fault for the bad picture

Any time you can detect with 100 yards of your beer fridge and find anything interesting, it is a "win". That's just my opinion, though.

Nahh.
Short attention span and not studying (squinting) has got me plenty of times.
Enough to think I don't grasp much of photo's sometimes!

That and my missing one frame arm on my wrong magnification reading glasses and thier sliding around and falling off at times too....
But they work better than my out of focus using a computer bifocals.
L.o.l..

I've got a couple of identical Carlsbad Caverns 'totem poles' tokens. They had an old slot machine in the gift shop at White's City at the entrance of the road that leads up to the cave, where you'd put in a quarter and pull the handle and it would always pay out one of those tokens for a souvenir

At least your out slamming the hardened earth for finds.
Beats sitting there staring at the fridge door or TV
Well done on the finds, not BB quality, but still a few cool items.

I think you've got some very cool items there, so congrats!

Here you go

Thank you!! Those are so cool! If the pharaoh thing is a necklace, the face would be upside down. How curious. Interesting!
