A few things from a new spot today. Bullet ID help.

[vadigger89]

I went to a new spot today and asked the landowner for permission he said that he doesnt usually let people detect there but it would be ok if I went out for a few hours today. Glad he let me go, I found my first knapsack hook. Its my first bullet like this I dont know what type it is.

[Dman]

Nice CW saves. I don't know about the bullet.
Congrats

[lost hunter]

nice find

[CSA2K]

Very nice. Looks like a Maynard.

[tennessee digger]

I think CSA2k is right. It looks like a Maynard bullet and it may be field cast. Nice bullet! Tennessee digger

Thanks for the help on the bullet.

Good finds. Never found a bullet like that.

Nice finds and we don't find many Maynards in our area. HH, Quindy.

[I Dig Relics Hoss]

That is most assuredly a field cast Maynard, nice find Sir

Really pays to ask permission......WTG

Good finds. Question, the item on the far right, is that lead, pounded flat, almost ribbon like? I've found several pieces like that at a CW campsite.

[vadigger89]

It is a flat piece of lead folded over. Its the second piece like that that I have dug. If it could only talk. IDK what it could have been used for.
