But at least the ground is still diggable. The four ringer and the lead seal were notable exceptions but even the seal is pretty beat up...but it's an old one!

For anybody here who doesn't already know:
Although Romeo-1's "four-ringer" bullet closely resembles an American civil war "Minie ball" bullet, it is actually an 1867-through-1870s British .577 Snider-Enfield rifle bullet. A lot of those have been dug in Canada.

I was looking for the foil... Can't see any 'fail', either! Getting skunked is a fail. I once hunted a beach and actually started hoping to find trash-- it was that clean!
 
Looks like a good lead hunt to me with a well worn copper as icing. I hope my next hunt is this bad, lol.:icon_scratch:
