Old friend gave me a storage bin of stuff out of his shop which was an gas station many yrs ago. This was among the items. US Gauge. Dated 1927 with original pouch. Works. Keeping this...

That's a nice piece of history. The Ford Model A logo only adds to it. Nice save.

That's because that was in 1973. The gauge in question is for a Model A Ford...
 
I've seen other old antique tire gauges in flea markets and antique malls. They sure don't make em like the used to. I got new tires at Discount Tire a couple months ago and they had free tire gauges made of plastic on the counter, but I didn't bother to pick one up. Maybe this one can be the start of a collection of vintage tire gauges for ya?. I'll bet there's some pretty rare and uniquely made old gauges out there one could assemble an interesting collection out of?
