I decided to get out with my detector for a while this morning; When I got to the park I got an immediate hit, thinking I was probably going to dig a pull tab, I was surprised when I dug the charm. The charm is inscribed with 'Extra Stout Guinness Beer' and is stamped 412.
I continued on into the park, found some small items and of course pull tabs, then I got a strong hit, after digging down about 4" I was amazed when I pulled out the ring. I got it home, cleaned it up and could read 14K stamped in it; this made me think the diamonds were probably real. I took it to the jeweler, they are definitely real and the center stone is a blue diamond.
