Detector(s) used
Pioneer 505, Explorer II
A neighbour of mine gave me permission to metal detect his property.
This is what I found on Saturday evening on a 3 hour hunt outside his fence and 8ft to the road.
Best off all he allowed me to keep what I found.

Thanks neighbour.
I would still like to detect the main lawn area, even though he told me that someone else went over this a number of years ago with a metal detector.
Here is what I found.
1936 Half dollar
1963 and 1965 dime
1965 nickel
1940, 1950,1952 and 1956 penny
1974 penny and 2 clad pennies with date unreadable
This is the first post of my finds
P.S. Any advise on how to clean the half dollar

Nice walking liberty! Way to go.

Thank Jeffk
I tried the pencil eraser on the half dollar and it worked great.
Thanks for the tip.

Hey, nice catch! My first silver was a walking half. They are beautiful coins.... Hope you find many more.

walking libs are one of the most sought after coins congrats

Seems like nothing is ever "hunted out" completely. Nice looking coin

very nice job on the half dollar! I would not clean it if I were you. That would only bring the value down :(
