A GUIDE TO VAULT TREASURE HUNTING (Condensed)

It's most often difficult to find the actual dig spot. The markers are often a top side thing where they put the dig spot off to the side of a "marked out spot". They are just place holders for a mapped spot where you go a direction and distance from that marked out spot.

Those type things would maybe be for someone to remember something, without prior knowledge it is unlikely to help.

On alot of these sites there are pillars or boulders a ways off that will have peep sites going over to them. You just have to look for them. They can be a few hundred feet away or further. Sometimes if its a really big spot they can be lined off a large natural feature from a long ways away. You just have to look around and look for any stand out things.

Found this on top in a split between the bluff! It’s like stacked these big boulders on top of one another!

Yeah ,Should leave it there for future people. it can mean many things. Can be a verification of a peepsite over to something, verification of a marker that is used in conjunction with others, can even be something close to a dig spot. Usually it's verifying a marker that would be used on a mapped out spot. It could be over the spot to dig , or within about a 100 feet. I wish it was easy after finding certain things, but personal experience, It's difficult to tell.

But yeah its a marker rock. Just can't say what it means specifically to the dig spot.

COolhandluke7,In the bottom left of post 6742, would you be willing to post a better pic? I would like to see if it looks to be an incomplete pentagon.

Yea below this carving is a cave! An about 4ft down i ran into blue a red clay mixed together ! I thought that was interesting to say the least! An it’s a bunch of it!

in the new pics it looks like 2 legs. I was interested because I have a "peek notch" that Quinoa describes, that shows an unfinished pentagon with some rocks in the center.

Yea it’s two legs! I’m assuming it means walking distance / vara ! 33inchs!?

There’s 3 huge boulders in a line probably 50yds away!

There’s a bunch of rock monuments (boulders) for example there is a big foot with two huge slits with toes! An that boulder is propped up in a way , that it has a square hole just big enough to crawl under! There is turtles , arrows, big poodle , etc but there mostly all on one side pointing in one direction!! (I’m know it’s not that easy… but that is where I’m stuck. Big moving a lot of dirt, just don’t have a certain spot to focus on. So I’m just going to move the whole hillside lol

I too have a boot. I know previously there was a discussion about if a boot means to stand or to walk. In my case I think it is both. it has a diamond in a direction to go that in line with the boot. It leads to where another diamond is set up.
Anyone care to share any info on the boot / legs meaning?

Use everything you have. Camera, compass, tape measure, electronic equipment. It's very difficult to find the place you need to dig. And there are decoy trap spots.

We dug a decoy spot up a while back, (last winter I think) I'll try to post some pictures when I have the time. Had a nice 4-5 foot square flat floor like vault lid at about 7-8 feet down. We were lucky we had an excavator on private land, because to lift the lid you had to spring the trap that wasn't really apparent. Got pretty excited when we found the lid... but nothing under it.

It was a spot pretty well marked off a A-frame/ pyramid boulder near an old trail near a creek bottom. If you knew what to look for and knew what bearings and distances were commonly used on other sites ( it think it was 15 varas off the A frame at 300 degree bearing , can't recall for sure).. With a couple other boulder markers above ground, including a "stop" desk sized boulder with a 90 degree cut out on it .

No auras, didn't have the time to try and get one. Kind of opportunity knox from a friend who knew someone with land and saw the A frame on 4 wheeler out riding his property. Just some markers and some knowledge of surveying that was commonly used was what we had to go on. It probably could have whacked us if we were hand digging it, but I doubt we would have dug directly under the boulder up top the extra 18" or so needed once we got to the lid to lift it , which would have collapsed it all. Sometimes you just go with it if you can get an excavator in. We tried to detect it with a 98" PI coil, and no certain hit, but the math seemed to work and we were there with an excavator, so, we figured might as well try it since we were there with all the equipment.
So the a-frame your talking about the “bird house” ?? An If so then if there’s one it will be close to that?

A-frames are just a boulder marker that is used like a survey marker. It has a pointed top that can be precisely measured off of. Same with most other markers. All these markers are used for measurements, and when you see that, you will find all these measurements and bearing are not naturally just occurring things.

I have been going back over a lot of specific sites that I know for certain on measurements to Crisscross Spots and I noticed many (not all) fall in the category of (the 36 inch yard) such as (132 feet is 44 Yards) (66 feet is 22 yards) (117 Feet is 39 yards) (75 feet is 25 yards) (150 feet is 50 Yards) (144 feet is 48 yards) etc. All of these measurements are confirmed at treasure sites from Markers to Crisscross Spots, one of these measurements I have talked about before is 77 feet (that I have found at multiple sites) which is not divided by three (not in yards) however if you multiply it by three you get 231 which is 77 Yards, bringing us back to those 123 numbers involving the Trinity just like the 132 number I mentioned above and how they split it in half to make 66 feet.
