A heartfelt "thank you" to Takoda.

Awhile back, I contacted Takoda about a few items he had available, noting they would be a great addition to "Hunters treasure". Takoda replied back and explained those items were no longer available but he would keep Hunter in mind.

Takoda contacted me a week or so ago, letting me know he had not forgotten and in fact had a few things for Hunter and also noted the idea of a "treasure chest" was a good one and will be starting one for his son, with the idea of adding items from different people/area`s. (A great idea I had not thought of!)

Takoda`s package arrived for Hunter yesterday, we waited until Hunter arrived home from a day of swimming with grandma, he saw it on the table and was excited as he saw his name written on front. We helped Hunter open each item, reading the descriptions of each one that was included.

All of these were fantastic, the one that held his attention was the gold in the plastic case.(carefully glued closed , we had a little trouble prying that one away from him. ) All are awesome and much appreciated, we hope to reciprocate in kind this spring/summer, adding to your son`s treasure.

We are picking up a small display case to put the items in, that will fit inside his chest. We decorated his chest (picked up at hobbylobby for about $15) with a wood burner and some left-over stain.

Your kindness and generosity will not be forgotten Takoda, again, Thank you!

(Hunter is very tired in these pics)

That's fantastic Blacksheep... you've got a cute kid with a precious smile!
And good on ya', TAKODA!! You made that kid smile big... you're a good man!
The treasure chest idea is great too! I can't wait until I have kids one day to be able to do something similar....

That is a very neat idea! I wish I had thought of something like that when my kids were growing up. I still have grandkids to fix one up for and I can hardly wait. Takoda that was mighty thoughtful of you to help out and having a description with each item and who it is from is a very good idea too! I love the pictures....his smile say it all for sure!
